why's he do that? poor Punkin! is he sick?
Yeah, he's had megecolon since he was little. It makes him very grumpy and bitey. He takes medicine (propulsid, for humans, in a liquid without flavor) when he is havin' trouble goin'; but the mom doesn't like to give it to him too much; cause then he really chews his belly and his neck gets itchy too. He was supposed to die a long time ago but he's too mean for that. He puts the bitey on me all the time, but I like him anyways. The mom gives him an abdominal exam every day to make sure his intestines are working. Then he gets lovin' and hugs and shows off by nuzzlin' mom with his special squeaky purr.

i's sorry ur tummy is sickie 'n u haf ta takes medy-cine. my mommie said u can add stuff ta tha food ...u could ask on a blog like Kat's Cat of the Day, they knows so much.
I'll take it plain, thank you very much. I don't like the flavors and I'm allergic to almost everything anyways (beef flavor is worse than the megacolon). I don't mind takin' it and it makes me feel better and I've been doin' it this way for 7 years now. I even come to mom when I need a dose or an enema. No sense in waitin' and it makes me feel better when I do.
Besides, I don't hafta take it every day anymore.
So, take that Lucky, I'm pushin' you around for a long time to come.

Gosh, my bro bites his belly fur off too and he's about the same color, so maybe it's all in the coloring! My mom says Eddie is self-balding. He just gets stressed every now and then but he's been very calm for the past year or so, so his belly has fur again. For one period, he was biting fur off any place he could manage--Mom said his legs kinda looked like apple cores!
