Chillin' By The Pool

First of all HGL gotted an eye infection and has to have yellow goo put in his eye . Lucky always lives up to his name. He didn't even have to go to the V-E-T. The humans bought yellow eye medicine from the farm and ranch store and saved about $100. I believe they should spend the money they saved on me.

I've been extra good and all, helpin' with the puppies and hangin' out on the patio by the pool.

We've had alot of rain lately and it tasted really good. Lookit, see that little woofie in the background. He ain't one of Baby's babies, the humans bought him last week; so he could grow up with the ones that they are keeping to breed.

Here is a better picture of him, his name is Diego and he is 2 days older than Baby's babies.
The mom took a picture of us darkies in the Crate Condominiums, they're very cozy and sometimes are booked well in advance. Usually by the gingers, but this time HGL and I had a stay, then I got up to do this post and now I'm gonna go and sit with the mom and watch some Napcar.

Favorite Cat Words

I had to ponder on this for a while. Here are some of my favorite cat vocabulations.

Cattitude-Something that all of us cats have.

Stinky Goodness-What all foods should be.

Treatsies-Wish I had some.

Niphead-I'm not one myself, but I live with four of them.

Purrbox-Get yer motor runnin'.

Check this out, you can watch baby birds getting fed. There is even a light on for night viewing. But, they go to sleep at night and there's not much to see.

Another Day At The Zoo

It's just another day at the zoo and a big cat's gotta do what a big cat's gotta do. So I had my bath.
Punkin stopped off at the water hole and showed off his impressive canines, all three of them. His bottom right one got broken in a fight and the V-E-T pulled it. Click the picture to biggify.

Hunter went to the V-E-T and had a bad reaction to the vaccination. Its either that or he got stung by a wasp immediately after getting home from the V-E-T; or maybe even both.

Lucky doesn't need to roar to show his canines. They are so long that they show all on their own.

HELL-Ok

Hi HGL here to update. We've been very busy, busy as bees. I've been practicing my tub games, no soccer ball yet, so, I'm still using my hockey puck.

Our rink has been resurfaced nicely, but the arena has yet to be completed( lazy humans and their excuses-puppies, allergies, monies, yard work, blah, blah, blah).

The weather has been very summerlike, 102 on Saturday, and in the 90s the rest of the time. We like to hang out in the window in our room. The humans have been nice and leave it open for us to lay in. It gets wonderful afternoon sun.
The mom says that is one of the reasons that they bought the house was because of the east-west exposure.Since we all get along so well we take turns sittin' there. Its too hot to fight and anyways we're not allowed to fight. The mom says it disrupts the harmony of the home.
I don't think Punkin got the memo.
I was sleepin' in the crate and Punkin pounced me. I started lickin' him and he gave up. Grumblin' somethin' 'bout "HIS" territory and "HIS" crate.
The ice cream vans have been makin' the rounds more than ever( they run all year long out here). They drive by real slow and play annoyin' musik( "Music Box Dancer") over and over. Any electronic music drives Hunter crazy(like the keyboard at the beginnin' of Baba O'Reilly), he just throws his head back and howls his lungs out.

Spring Has Sprung

Spring has finally come to my house. I thought it would never get here. These are grape hyacinths and they smell real good( at least that's what the mom says, she wouldn't let me go out front and smell them, bah).
So I went out to explore the backyard.
This is where I was going, to get me some inca doves. They are the smallest dove; snack size, I say. But I was stopped before I could climb the tree.
The holly is in bloom and smells heavenly. The monarchs think so too.

The puppies have grown so much. But I'm not gonna play with them, too many sharp little teeth.
They've gotten big enough to eat crunchies on their own.

Even I get a little snack now and again. This time it wasn't dog food, it was my favorite, a cricket.
They play themselves out and and just nap wherever they are.

On the way to the computer, I had the mom take this picture of HGL to show how greedy he can be when he eats. He was muttering, "Mine, all mine. Nope, I'm not sharin'. These cruncies are mine."

Punkin Punkin

I submit this cute photo of my bruddy, Punkin, for your viewing pleasure. Whenever a camera comes out, he poses. He's a pretty boy and he knows it.
